The redesigned Silverado saw an increase in its maximum payload capacity of 300 pounds. Thanks to its larger bed with massive capacity and lots of tie-down points. For connectivity, both the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come as standard. There are also tons of other safety features like rear cross traffic alert, pedestrian alert, rear cross traffic alerts, etc. The all-new touch screen display is also very attractive.

The cabin is larger too, providing greater legroom for the back seats. However, the center stack unnecessarily takes up a lot of space in the cabin. While the materials used in the interior have been upgraded, it still falls below the competitors’ offerings.

2019 Silverado Specifications

Chevrolet offers four engine options for its latest Silverado 1500 full-size pickup truck. You can choose from three models:

  • 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder

  • a powerful 5.3-liter V8 engines

There is also a turbodiesel engine in line. The availability of different powertrains also meets the various different towing and hauling needs.

The truck can sit 5-6 passengers and offers a range of 277-420 HP in different trim levels. Its mileage stands at 14-20 in the city, which increases to 18-24 on the highway.

The base model of the 2019 Silverado costs about $30,000. The most expensive trim costs about $58,095.
